Founded on June 1, 1991, in a small borrowed area in the rural area of ​​Morro da Fumaça, Santa Catarina, southern Brazil, RECICLO began its activities with the purpose of recovering solvents from paint, frame, furniture and packaging industries in the region. At that time, these materials were not reused and did not always receive the correct destination. The activities were developed only by the two founding partners and the recycling of the products was carried out by hand by a small distiller. At the time, it was possible to recover 6,000 liters of solvents per month.

 

The business improved and the partners realized the need to expand production capacity. It was then that, in January 1994, the company began operating in an old rented warehouse, located in Estação Cocal, on the banks of the Genésio Mazon Highway. At that time, the company hired its first employees. Average monthly production was around 40,000 liters of products.

 

We seek to work with innovative and committed suppliers who are aware of our concern for the quality, punctuality and continuous improvement of our products and services. For this reason, instruments are periodically calibrated in accordance with international standards and through standards traceable to the Brazilian Calibration Network.

 

Seeking to convey even greater reliability, safety and peace of mind to our customers, RECICLO has decided to provide them with a modern and effective Quality Management System certified by ISO-9001.

 

To produce and recover solvents and offer environmentally responsible solutions with quality and technology, aiming at the continuous improvement of processes, minimizing environmental impacts, ensuring sustainable environmental development and compliance with current environmental legislation to satisfy our customers. The activities are monitored by respected professionals in the areas of medicine and occupational safety, who work on a daily basis in the organization through inspections, meetings, training, periodic simulations and in accordance with the standards of the Environmental Risk Prevention Program and the Medical Control and Occupational Health Program.
